The short version. You send us your photos and stories, we turn them into a picture book. You see every page and can change the words and each picture once before you approve it. Then you get a print PDF and a private reading link. It's for your family to keep and print as often as you like.

Who you're buying from

Little Chapters is run by Anna, Andy, Cody and Ryan, the family behind Double Trouble Travelers, a small family business in Queensland, Australia (ABN 35 141 633 957). Contact us at hello@mininomad.com.au.

Payments are processed by Stripe. For many orders, Stripe acts as the seller of record and handles sales tax and VAT, and Stripe's own terms apply to the payment.

What you get

A personalised digital picture book made from your photos and your words.
A print PDF (20 × 20 cm pages) that you can print at home or at a print shop.
A private reading link that opens like a book on a phone, tablet or computer, for 12 months.
An extra copy for each person you add, with their own dedication and language.

This is a digital product. We don't print or post books (yet).

How it's made

We use AI tools (Google Gemini) to help write the story and paint the pictures from your photos. The drawings are an artistic interpretation in our watercolour style, not a photograph, so faces and details won't be exact. That's why you see your characters before you pay, and check every page before the final book is made.

Your proof and changes

Before paying, you can check each character and ask for up to 3 redraws per person.
On your proof you can change any words, choose your title, and ask us to change each picture once (the cover and every page).
When you press Approve, we make your final book. After that it can't be changed.
If you don't approve your proof within 30 days, we'll finish your book as it is and send it to you.

Your part

By placing an order you confirm that:

you are 18 or over;
you have permission to use every photo you send, including permission from the people in them (or their parent or guardian);
the photos and words don't break anyone's rights or the law, and aren't hurtful or explicit.

We can refuse or cancel an order that doesn't meet these terms, with a full refund.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on our website in your currency and include tax. Discount codes are entered on the payment page and can't be combined unless we say so. Your book starts being made once your payment is confirmed.

Refunds

Because each book is made just for you, we don't offer refunds for a change of mind once your book has started. But if something goes wrong, for example your book doesn't arrive, the files don't open, or there's a fault we can't fix, write to us and we'll fix it or refund you.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws where you live.

Who owns what

Your photos and your stories stay yours. Your finished book is for your personal and family use: you can print it, share it with family and keep it forever. Please don't sell it or use it for business. We don't use your book or photos for anything else, and we only show your book in our posts if you said yes.

Delivery

We email your proof, usually within about an hour of paying, and your finished book within minutes of approving. If anything takes longer, we'll let you know.

Our responsibility

We take great care with every book, but we can't promise that every drawing will look exactly like the real person, and we're not responsible for printing results at third party print shops. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

Changes and law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
